Embankment on the North Side of Kelapa Island is Beautified

The Thousand Islands Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency is painting embankment walls and floors that bordering the north side of the island in Kelapa Island Urban Village, North Thousand Islands.

We expect to finish it before Eid al-Fitr

Thousand Islands SDA Sub-agency Head Hendri conveyed seven personnel were seen painting the floors and walls along 400 meters. They divided it into 4 sections with dimensions of 50x50 meters, 104x80 meters, 80x34 meters, and 50x70 meters.

"We touch the wall with blue and yellow colors to make them look clean and beautiful, at the same time emphasizing the boundary line of Kelapa Island when viewed from afar," he explained, Monday (3/25).

That seven personnel had been deployed since April 18 for this painting work which was targeted to be completed by the end of this month.

" We expect to finish it before Eid al-Fitr . Thus, it will look neat and beautiful during the Eid holiday," he stated.
